Alopecia – Helplessness
Alopecia areata is a condition resulting in sudden hair loss that starts with one or more circular bald patches on the scalp or elsewhere on the body. It is caused by the immune system attacking hair follicles. Modern medicine recognizes that his condition can be caused by stress.
Feeling manipulated, leading to feeling distrust
Helplessness and powerlessness
Feeling controlled, leading to drawing power from anger
Fear and tension
“I am safe and ready to make my own decisions. I can relax and trust life.”
How can I trust myself more?
Trust is about letting go of control. The more focused we are on the details of our lives, the specifics we want to experience, and the way we want our life to happen, the less we trust. Being in control of anything outside of ourselves and trusting life do not mix.
Focus on a bigger picture. Feel the difference between the following two scenarios: needing to make a perfect birth cake for a loved one (controlling the recipe, color, texture, temperature, flavor, etc.), so they feel appreciated; and wanting to create an atmosphere of celebration for the birthday of a loved one, focusing on the positive emotions flowing form giving, sharing, and affirmations of love,
Which scenario makes you feel less pressure?
Which one is more playful?
Which one makes you tense up?
I invite you to focus a little more on the emotional flavor of the situation or thing you are trying to create in your life, and much less on the specifics, and see for yourself how your level of creativity, playfulness, and trust increases in your life.
